DC BayWatch Battery Kemble Stream Data
Below, please find links to the data each class collected during their
DC
BayWatch 2006's Walking Through Your Watershed programs. Use this information
to compare your class's experiences to those of other schools.
Some suggestions for using this information:
- As a graphing exercise by plotting the data and interpreting results.
- As a discussion tool to talk about ecological issues such as seasons and weather impact on habitats. For example: Ask the class questions such as, "Did the weather affect the water quality scores?", "Did the time of the program affect the water quality scores?", "Did the age of the class affect the scores?"
- As a tool for discussion of the scientific method: Have students suggest new ways to interpret the data, as well as different approaches to collecting the data if the experiment were to be repeated.
This data will be updated regularly to include recent programs. Check this page often for additional information.
