2006 Birds & Bees Ball

Date: Saturday, May 20, 2006
Time: Seven in the evening
Place: Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium, 1301 Constitution Avenue NW, Washington, DC

Discovery Creek's annual formal benefit, the Birds & Bees Ball, is a magical evening with dinner, dancing, and an auction. The event supports the Museum's environmental education programs for children, teachers, and communities throughout the Washington, DC area.

Honeybee Hoedown

Date: Saturday, October 15, 2005
Place: Glen Echo Park, Glen Echo, MD

Discovery Creek's annual fall family festival pleased children of all ages! Guests clad in cowboy hats and western attire explored the Museum's Six-legged Sensations exhibition, square danced, created amazing arts & crafts, and more! Event proceeds support Discovery Creek’s commitment to bring environmental education to underserved children, teachers, and communities in the Washington, DC area.
